My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ethan a friendly boy with a gorgeous tan/black coat! Ethan is one of the four siblings who were found on a street in South Korea at just 3 months old in July 2021 and sent to a high-risk city shelter. Luckily rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, the puppies started living with numerous dogs in the private shelter. Ethan was fortunately given a chance to live in a temporary foster home during his puppyhood and experienced social learning. It has been already 2 years since he returned to the shelter, but Ethan still remembers how nice living in a sweet home was and is now eagerly searching for his forever home!

Personality & Characteristics:
My foster dog is good with: Dogs (He tends to be bossy so would do best in a single-dog home)
My foster dog is: House trained
3 Keywords for your pup: Friendly, Affectionate, Active
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 8
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: He only barks a bit towards other dogs he doesn't like
Walking Manners: In training and improving!
Appetite: More encouraged with treats. No food allergies.
Favorite Things: Loves running and playing with toys
Commands/Tricks: Sit, paw, stay, down, hive-five (even both hands).

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
