Well hello! My name is Jennifer. I am from Arkansas.
Grab your coffee, pull up a chair, and let me tell you a bit about myself...I am a super friendly girl - I love my people and the few other dogs I've met. I love to snuggle and sit on your lap, but I'm a big fan of playing with my toys too. My foster mom says I'm a thief and try to steal my sisters' toys. What? I want the toy they have.
One of my favorite things to do is explore out in the yard.
Want to know what else I enjoy? FOOD! I love food...any food will do! When it's time for breakfast and dinner, I go right to my kennel and wait for it.
I'm sure you're all wondering about how my training is coming along, yes? I don't mind my crate. I sleep in there and I eat in there, so it's not such a bad place. Mom tells people I'm pretty quiet in there and sometimes in the evening, I'll just go lay in there when I'm really tired. I'm still working on my potty training. I never ever go in my kennel (I did once because mom left me in there just a little too long), but she's trying to teach me how to use this silly bell. I haven't quite figured why I should ring the bell.
I live with my sissy, Josie, and my resident sister, Winnie. We love to romp around and wrestle. I also have two human brothers (9 & 12) and we get along great too. I'd love to show you what a good girl I am, so please come and meet me - I'd be a perfect addition to your family!
From the Foster Mom:
Jennifer is such a playful and friendly little girl. We just adore her and her sweetness! She sure does love her toys and loves to steal them from her sister and resident dog, however, she's never been territorial over them. She does fantastic in her kennel. Although I work from home, I will put Jennifer in her kennel throughout the day to rest and you'd never know she's there. She can go all night without an accident as well. Jennifer loves her humans so much, she likes to jump up and greet them, so will need to work on that with her. Jennifer also wants her opinions heard or wants to say "hi to people/animals passing, so just be cognizant of that if you live in an apartment / townhome.
We do not have any cats, so I can't say how she'd do with cats.

More about this rescue
The Bond Between is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on the bond between humans and animals. We were founded in 2009 as Secondhand Hounds. Since then, we have rescued over 29,000 dogs and cats with the help of thousands of fosters, volunteers, and supporters in our community. Our organization has grown from a rescue to a first-in-its-class animal wellbeing organization... now The Bond Between! We continue to provide safe shelter, proper veterinary care, and daily necessities for animals while working hard to help them build a bond with humans. We also focus on supporting the bonds that already exist between people and pets with our pet food shelf, respite foster care program, and focus on social services.
We wake up every morning saying YES to connecting people and animals, caring for them, and helping them fill each other’s hearts.
You can help support us today by donating, fostering, volunteering, or sharing The Bond Between.
