Meet the Goofy guy Titan! Titan came to us when his previous home was no longer able to care for him. Titan is a bit of a nervous guy so everything with him will need to be slow moving. Titan would do best in an adult only home because he is not fond of the little humans, and he likes to know what's his is his. Titan does have some behavior needs that would have to be discussed with our adoptions team before adopting. Titan is a really sweet pup down at his core but does need a little help being shown that the world is not such a scary place. To adopt visit us at 1101 Western Ave, Pittsburgh PA 15233 during the Adoption Center Hours below.

Our adoption process is aimed at matching you, your family and your current pets with our animals for adoption. An adoption counselor (or volunteer) will introduce you to our animals in a private meeting room. We will share information about the animal's history and needs, behavior assessment and any volunteer / staff comments.

When you find the right pet for you and your family, the adoption counselor will assist you in completing the proper paperwork. This process includes signing an adoption contract, reviewing medical history and providing proper pet care information. This process takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

What you will need in order to adopt:

A valid PA state ID with your current address.

We recommend all members of the household meeting the animal before adopting.

If you are interested in adopting a dog and have other dog(s) living in your household, it is recommended that all dogs meet each other at the shelter.

Certain animals require additional steps.

Adoption fee is accepted in cash or credit/debit card. Checks, American Express and Discover are not accepted as payment.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to hold or accept a deposit for animals. Adoptions are approved for the first qualified home.
