Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**The first step to adopting from MO Min Pin Rescue, is to complete the online adoption application. A good vet reference and heartworm prevention are required.
We do not arrange transport, and you will be responsible for coming to us to get your dog.
Squirrel is an 18-month-old, long-legged min pin. He is super sweet but a very nervous boy. Possibly more nervous around men but initially nervous of all people. He takes a few days to warm up but once he does, he is snuggly, loving, and very playful.
He is ok with dogs and cats. He doesn’t seem to care much about cats but when he feels playful, sometimes that includes chasing them. He would be best in a house with another young dog he can play with. He needs a no-kid house. He loves to play with other dogs and cat toys (stuffed mice). He is goofy, curious, and very timid. He is mostly potty trained but does have occasional accidents. Squirrel has tended to be a door darter and an escape artist. He has plenty of energy and requires a fully fenced-in yard to run off his energy. He has escaped from multiple homes so I wouldn’t trust him on a leash until he has more practice and gains your trust.
Squirrel is located in the St. Louis, MO area and his adoption fee is $275.
