My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sams came to me as a foster from the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. I quickly grew to realize how great of a dog she is and adopted her within a month. She is gentle around humans and loves to play and be outside, whether going on walks or to the dog park or simply sunning herself. She is considered 'dog neutral,' as she is curious about other dogs and wants to play with virtually everyone she meets. She never plays too rough and will only gently nibble your hand when super aroused.

Sams is seventy-three pounds and two years old - into her teenage years. She has never once had an accident in the house in the year that I've had her, even when I work a long shift and will be gone for nine or ten hours. She is not destructive with any of my belongings. She will, however, 'shop' for things you might have left on the ground - mostly socks - and take them back to her nest. So, she helps keep the house clean!

Unfortunately, I'm moving into a situation where I can no longer take care of Sams.
