My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diamond - Female DOB 1/1/2019 Domestic Short Hair Brown Tabby - Meet Diamond!  A mixture of sweet and spicy!  Miss Diamond is a southern belle from North Carolina.  She found herself living in a rough trailer park, when she was trapped by one of our NC fosters a couple of years ago.  Her ear was tipped because she was going to be part of the TNR (trap, neuter, release) project but she ended up staying with our foster in her foster room.  Diamond became close to her foster family, they loved her but they felt after two years, it was time she got a home of her own.  She watched as other kitties came and went, and although she tolerated them, she was not fond of other cats.  Diamond is very affection, on her terms.  She likes to be pet and get ear scratches and is playful too.  But she doesn't like to be picked up and will let you know when she has had enough attention. Diamond has a condition called Stomatitis.  Stomatitis can be a very painful condition, resulting from inflammation of the mouth tissue.  The condition requires treatment and this is normally done with either a partial or a full mouth extraction of the teeth, depending on the severity. Diamond has had a full mouth extraction done now between two dentals done.   This beautiful girl will do well as an only kitty, with someone that wants a kitty that likes attention but that is also fine entertaining herself while you are at work or gone for the day.  She is quite confident and could likely be tolerant of a cat friendly dog, that wasn't looking for a cat that would be a buddy.  Older respectful children would be ok as well.  Diamond has waited a long time for a family and home of her own, if you are interested in this sweet and spicy girl, please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/
