My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper, our tremendously handsome big boy, came to us as an owner surrender. Cooper is gorgeous - OBVIOUSLY, weighed in at 80 lbs this week and is a whole lotta love and fun!!

This beautiful purebred yellow lab has now seen our vet, been neutered, gotten his rabies, Microchip and up to date on vaccinations! Cooper is good to go!

Cooper loves to play big time, and has lived with younger children, enjoys the bedtime snuggles and has slept with his family in the past. Cooper is house trained and has good manners -although his young lab exuberance gets the best of him sometimes, he knows basic commands and how to crate.

While Cooper has crated in his past, we are hoping Cooper has more freedom and time with his people in his next home, this boy is built for fun, loves and action! Long walks, trails, nose work, frisbee, couch time- Coop is your guy!

We will require a fenced yard for Cooper.

More about this rescue

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.

Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.

We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
