She is a very sweet girl and loves to cuddle. She wears out fast since everything requires much more energy. She does really well with other dogs and enjoys having them around as long as they are not bullying her because she will hold her ground and a forever judge if they do (only had an issue with 4 dogs out of hundreds and she did not start any of the incidents, only defended herself as need be - all 4 of those were female pits but there have been other female pits she coexists peacefully with at all times). She absolutely loves puppies and is great with small dogs, but she is unfortunately too much for the cats because they won't accept her constant love. She loves sniffing and makes the cutest sounds when she is sniffing (she sounds like a pig honestly). She loves to sit with her left leg tucked underneath her as well. Is a snorer if she’s having a really good sleep.
Does need heavy-duty dog toys as she will shred the softer ones in 30 seconds. She does not like to be left outside alone except for when she has to potty. If there are other dogs, she will sometimes stand to be out there and play with them for a while. If you are out there with her, she is fine staying out there for as long as you like. Does well on a leash but is very strong as a pre-warning (meaning a kid would not be able to walk her unless she has further leash training). Does need to be crated when left alone as she is very nosy and will get into something she shouldn't. EXTREMELY food motivated.

More about this rescue
In service of domestic animals in South Carolina, Frisky Business Rescue is a no-kill rescue that provides vital resources such as veterinary care, birthing assistance, medication, and rehoming or safe release (TNR) to the most vulnerable animals in the region. We specialize in animals with special circumstances that come from various backgrounds, including animal hoarding and abusive situations but primarily focus on vulnerable kittens, puppies, and pregnant/nursing dogs and cats. Before rehoming, we carefully screen new potential families to ensure the needs of our animals are met and that new homes will become furever homes.
