My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a great mixed breed pet for a family or an active person with a fenced yard to potty in and do a little exercise. I will be a medium to large sized adult. Since we are mixed with Shepherd, Border Collie, Terrier etc we will enjoy daily walks, dog training and suitable toys/bones. Due to our exercise needs and being vocal we will not do well in apartments, but a house with a fenced yard is best. Meet and greets are best with current dogs in the home as some adult dogs may not like an energetic pup. If adopted in San Antonio/Helotes area, I come with a $100 gift certificate at The Palms for dog training. Please submit online application if you want to meet me.

Since we are a foster-based rescue, viewing our animals online to find one that you are interested is best. Once you have found an animal you would like to adopt, complete the application by visiting our website at: hhsanimals.org and clicking on the animals picture. We will review it and forward to the animal's foster and have them contact you to go over the next steps.
Our adoption fees are:

Dogs and puppies = $175 + tax
Cats and kittens = $105 + tax

Adoption fees for purebred animals and out-of-state adoptions will be different than those listed above.

These fees include all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens and senior animals.

SInce the vast majority of our animals are kept in foster homes, it's best to contact us at: info@hhsanimals.org to inquire about meeting an animal. You can also visit some of our available pets at one of our weekly adoption events at either the Petsmart or Petco stores near Bandera Rd and 1604 in far NW San Antonio on Saturday's from 12:00-3:00.
