My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We will be reviewing applications for Coco on April 22nd.

Animal Profile: Coco is a 6 year old, ~15lb chihuahua/dachshund mix. He was originally adopted from our Texas rescue partner 3 years ago, but the family no longer had the time to care for him. Rather than going back to Texas, the rescue reached out to us and he was transferred to our care. Coco is extremely sweet and good with all humans he has met. He does well his crate; his previous adopters crated him overnight and during the work day. He is potty trained, and is friendly with other dogs. He met our team member's chihuahua during the evaluation, and after a few sniffs he jumped into play mode. Coco is curious on leash and did not react to other humans or dogs during the evaluation. He does pull some, as the adopters walked him on a retractable leash. Coco is sweet, loves people, and he is excited to get the time and attention he deserves. He was fed a poor diet, so his skin is not as glamorous as it could be. DGS will provide him a quality diet to help get him feeling, and looking, his best!

Foster Update: Coming soon!
