Are you looking for a dog that loves to cuddle, give nose boops, and stare deeply into your eyes? Meet BLONDIE! She is a 7 month old, 13 pound Brussels Griffon mix. She has had some great adventures with her fosters including playing with dog friends, going on walks and long car rides, walking around dog-friendly farmers markets, smelling the wildflowers in Anza Borrego, posing for fun photos, and relaxing in a posh hotel room! Blondie's foster family says she is a great companion and is energetic during activities but calm otherwise. She walks well on leash and knows her name and the commands 'come' and 'sit' but will need her adopter to continue working with her to learn other commands like 'stay', 'down', etc. Blondie is good with cats and dogs her size but can be a little shy around larger dogs until she gets to know them. She is crate trained and potty trained in her foster home. Respectful children aged 8 years and older only for this girl. Blondie exhibits some separation anxiety and would do best in an active home where she can be with her person/family most of the time.
Blondie's adoption fee is $450 and includes spay, microchip, and current vaccinations.

SPOT was created to fill the need to save animals who “fall through the cracks” in our sheltering system. Local shelters are overwhelmed—they receive so many strays and owner turn-ins that they run out of space and have to kill thousands of animals each year. The majority of these animals are healthy and simply need to be placed into a home. Others are medical cases which require some work, but do not have life-threatening diseases or injuries. And a few have some moderate behavior issues; we work with specialists to correct these behaviors before finding them their forever home. The bottom line is SPOT can save these lives.
