Meet Yeager, a charming 1-year-old male weighing 51 lbs. This adorable pup arrived at the shelter on 3/27/24 after losing his way, and sadly, no one came to reclaim him. However, Yeager hasn't let that dampen his spirits; he's as sweet as can be and incredibly intelligent. He's already mastered commands like sit, stay, and lay down, proving just how clever he is. Yeager loves to play and is a joy to walk on a leash. Currently, he's staying at RUN #802, patiently waiting for his forever home. Yeager is UTD on vaccines and will be neutered, microchipped, and undergo heart worm testing, before adoption. Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
