Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maple 🩷💜
Whoever says you can't find a full lab in rescue has obviously not met Maple. This one year old chocolate lab is everything that's great about labs. She sits for treats, walks well on a leash, loves other dogs (except puppies but who can blame her), isn't a jumper, rolls over for belly rubs, and loves meeting new people. She's polite when new people come around and sits down by her person. Maple goes in a crate easily and is quiet while crated. Interestingly, she has fallen in the pool and is not a fan of water. Maple was found sitting in the middle of the highway and her owner said, he didn't want her back because she was afraid of gun fire. She will run from loud crashes or yelling.
Maple sleeps on the bed through the night and has never had an accident in the house or her crate. She sometimes waits to be told it's OK to come inside. A funny quirk is that she won't eat large biscuit treats, only small ones. Maple is fully vetted including shots, heartworm preventative, deworming, spay, and microchip. She's a great girl who deserves the absolute best family. 🩷🐾
