Meet Bender! This handsome yellow Labrador Retriever is 4 years old and weighs 47 lbs. Although small for a lab, he is strong and will need a strong, confident owner who can handle him on a leash. You see, Bender is still learning his manners. He is sweet as can be but hasn’t quite figured out how to be the best version of himself yet. Even though he is already 4 years old, he acts much younger and LOVES to play, especially ball. Bender also loves running and being chased. He purportedly can be left uncrated when home alone for short periods and is fully housetrained. Bender is open to meeting other dogs (he seems unfazed by the other dogs at the shelter) and is good with cats. Because he is still a bit mouthy when he plays, he shouldn’t be in a home with very young children but would be great with older kids. In fact, he’d love some energetic playmates!
