If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We became the new caregivers of Rico after the sad loss of his previous owner. Rico is currently 5-6 years old and was adopted as a kitten by the daughter of his previous owner. Unfortunately, the daughter is not responsible enough to take care of him and provide him with the care he deserves.
Rico is a very friendly and loving cat. He gets along well with other animals, although he can be scared of dogs at first and will hide until he feels comfortable. Rico is looking for a new home with a family or individual who can offer him love, playtime and the care he needs. He is a low-maintenance cat and loves to play and cuddle. When he is feeling particularly affectionate, he may give little nibbles. Rico enjoys burrowing in blankets and kneading on them.
We will continue to care for Rico until we find him a suitable new home. A rehoming fee will be charged to ensure he goes to a healthy environment; however, we are open to discussing this fee and negotiating it if needed.
