Let me tell you about Mr. Zoodle. This boy is a doll and so smart! He likes to please his foster family and can sit, stay, down and shake - and who knows what he can learn next. He is crate trained and potty trained, not too bad for a shelter dog that was a long term stay. What he likes? He loves water, adventures, car rides and anywhere that he can smell all of the things. He does great with other dogs, male and female, and would love a playmate, but he's totally find being an independent boy and amusing himself. He is a beautfiul boy that wants a forever home and he deserves just that. Zoodle will do all of the adventures, and then be ready to cuddle at the end of the day. If you are looking for a fun bud to do all of the things with, Zoodle is your man!

We have monthly adoption events at Lume in Petersburg and Tractor Supply in Dundee, MI.

More about this shelter

We are a family run rescue that we have established on our property. We pull from local animal control and shelters, as well as owner surrenders and high risk shelters. At Hard Licker Ranch we operate in small packs so that we can socialize the dogs as well as to understand the most about their personalities. We have 2 barns that are temperature controlled, and the dogs have 24 hour access to come in and out through weathered doggy doors. We do it to make life better for every dog that comes into our care and give them a second chance. We also do community outreach and TNR. Our rescue is also a Sanctuary for barn cats who need a home!
