Why I need a new home

Found or abandoned

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sassy was found one rainy morning on my front steps, extremely thin and coated in some kind of oily substance. I brought her inside, bathed her, fed her, and got her comfortable while I looked for a home. No one came forward, so I took her to the vet, got her vaccinated and tested for any worms or disease (perfectly healthy!), and found out she was already spayed. Vet guesses 1-2 yrs old.

I kept her to hopefully find a home for her. The first family didn't mesh with her so she was returned to me. Her name is very apt. She is terrified of other animals and will hiss/growl and be affected for days after. She will redirect with a swipe of the paw if she gets upset as well.

She is EXTREMELY food motivated, and will try to steal your meals, so I keep her in another room when I eat which managed the issue. She is sweet and chatty and sleeps with me at night. Not a lap cat in general, but likes to be around you.

My main issue is that I train dogs and foster cats, and she needs different.
