My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet girl is named Callie and she is about 6 years old. She is a purring machine and loves attention, especially during her brushes. She can be shy at first, but will warm up to you and become your best friend quickly as she did with my daughter.

Her story: Callie belonged to my uncle who passed away unexpectedly from heart complications. He had her and a dog; I was able to temporarily take Callie in until she can find a new home, but I don't have a lot of time to find her a new home as my landlord does not allow cats and it is hard to hide a litter box. I also have a dog of my own, who she gets a long with and has never been mean toward. She is well trained to go in her litter box and does not jump on kitchen counters or tables or scratch furniture.

We are still trying to learn her likes and dislikes - so far she is not a fan of featherly cat toys, but loves her catnip and loves to be petted most of all. She does like to be held and will lay right next to you and sleep.
