My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Everyone,

My name is Abby. I am a spayed and vaccinated 15-year-old tuxedo cat. I was born in Germany and moved to Colorado when I was four. I have lived as an only pet most of my life. I am pretty scared of other animals since I have lived alone for so long. But between us, I rather prefer living alone anyway.

I now live with four humans, Joe and Kerstin and two kids. I am not so great around small children, but usually I just try to find a spot to sleep and hide where they can’t find me. Joe, Kerstin, and the rest of the family are moving back to Germany soon. And at my age, I think I would rather stay here. I now have some cognitive decline in my old age and I probably would not handle that move very well. It was really hard on me when I was four so now that I’m such an old lady, I really don’t know what I would do. Joe is looking for a place for me to go that would give me the space and quiet that I like. And also people that would be patient with worsening anxiety.
