Piper may look a little rough around the edges, but she is 100% precious and full of personality! She was found wandering the streets in Maryland, covered in fleas and scabs, with a crinkly scarred ear from a prior infection, and not even spayed. The shelter got her all fixed up and sent her to Fancy Cats to help find her perfect home. Despite her rough past, Piper LOVES people and craves attention. If you're not talking to her, she will stick her paws out of the cage and chirp at you until you come say hi to her. Let her out of the cage, and she just rubs on your legs and jumps into your lap. She even likes being picked up and held - anything to get your love. When she gets really excited, she even will start licking your hands. She has shown some interest in toys, but mostly just wants to be with people. She does well with cat-friendly kids, seems to like other cats, and we think she would be ok with cat-friendly dogs. Please contact us if you would like to meet this sweet girl!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
