My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lil was a shelter pet I adopted when she was less than 1 year old. Nothing is known of her history before that time.
She had been with me in a studio apartment for about 5 years. I was working and she spent her time in doggie day care while I worked. Otherwise, she kept well at home if I needed to be out, which was seldom.
I became ill and could not work a approximately 2 years ago but was able to send Lil to daycare a couple of times a week and walk her daily.
I am now not able to walk her and using a dog walker is very expensive. I also am not driving and unable to get her to her daycare kennel. Living on social security and a very small retirement.
I have always had dogs - from childhood and throughout adult hood. I have always had a strong and comfortable bond with my dog companions. (my children accused me of liking them better than them!).
I do not want to let her go. She is not getting out as much as she should, I am not able to play with her as freely with her.
