Hi, I am Renaldo. I am a 28 pound, 2-year-old Poodle mix. I am neutered, vaccinate, and microchipped. I came from Mexico. Mexico is tough living for dogs so I was transported to MN so I can find myself a new forever home.
I am a good, happy boy looking for my very own forever home. I love cuddles and belly rubs. I enjoy going for walks. I like to play with my foster mom and dog toys. I will chase after the toys when she throws them.
I had to survive on my own in Mexico and I got beat up alot so I do need slow introductions with other dogs. I never had anything of my own in Mexico so I can be possessive of toys and things with people and food and treats with other dogs. We are working on this in the foster home. I don't like all the dogs being in my face all at once. I would probably do best as an only dog or a home with one other dog. I've met a cat, sniffed it a few times, it swatted me, and I leave it alone now.
I am kennel trained. I am potty trained but please expect me to have accidents in my new home until I get used to the routine. I can wear a belly band until we get this worked out. I walk pretty well on a leash.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
