My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Debo is a sweet, calm 7-year-old American Bulldog mix who came to us from animal control. He is absolutely adorable! He's currently 62 lbs and is a nice size, but he could definitely put on a few pounds. Debo loves meeting new people and likes to carry his toy around while greeting everyone. He enjoys lounging in our lobby while working as our greeter. He rides nicely in the car and walks well on the leash. He was vetted and neutered 3/28/24 and is now ready for a home

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application here: http://medfieldshelter.com/adopt. Our dog adoption fee is $350. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash.

With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have two employees. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.
