My foster mom calls me CeCe, and the rescue thinks I’m about 3 years old. I weigh 12 pounds, and I’m a very happy girl. You see, I somehow ended up at the shelter as a stray, which is where Angels found me. After being there for a bit, I was just so thankful for a comfy bed and a fuzzy blanket, I mean, how could I not be happy now? I even do a little dance on my hind legs because I'm super excited to see you!
I only need one more thing to be complete - a forever home, and a family to call my own. I get along great with other dogs, but I am also a “velcro dog” and like to stick close to my human. My foster mom thinks I’m a Cairn Terrier due to my thick double coat, so whoever adopts me should be committed to keeping me groomed and gorgeous! I was awarded “five stars” from the groomer I went to recently, as I was such a good girl. I also walk great on a leash - I love exploring, but if you call me to come, I trot over without question.
I am a little cautious when I first meet new people, but it doesn’t take me long to warm up and start asking for belly rubs. I will probably refuse to sleep anywhere else besides cuddled up with you in your bed. I’m a good little sleeper and just prefer to be held close. I am also working on potty training, and a potential adopter needs to be willing to help finish training me. I’m really smart though, so I have lots of potential to learn this and other new things!
