My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOR ADOPTION: MIDNIGHT is a mature male looking for a family that will make him feel safe and secure. This big sweetheart is the found cat we have had advertised that has had obvious dental surgery done in the past. No one has claimed him and we have reached the point where he deserves to move on and find his forever family. He is estimated to be between 5 and 8 years old but once cats are mature it becomes very hard to tell. Midnight showed up on a rural property in the Quick area over the winter. He was trapped and brought indoors to stay way and fed until we had room for him at the shelter. Midnight was still nervous and shit down when he arrived at the shelter but through all of his scary life changes Midnight has remained gentle. Many cats lash out in fear but Midnight would just freeze. Now that he is settling in and coming out of his shell Midnight throughly enjoys getting pets and is starting to enjoy exploring our main shelter room. Midnight has been very respectful and friendly with the other cats so far and non reactive to respectful dogs. He does like to chat to let us know when he is hungry, happy to see us or to keep communication lines open when he is exploring. Midnight’s previous dental surgery has left him with just four teeth, as a result he does require a wet food only diet. Midnight is best suited to an indoor home with access to catio for when he is feeling extra adventurous. He is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for a gentle soul that is ready for his happily ever after, apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a chance to meet MIDNIGHT #NWASMidnight
