My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am in foster in Somers CT. Email for an appointment to meet me.

Name: Bo

Breed: mixed breed (German Shepard mix)

Age: 1 1/2 years

Gender: neutered male

Personality: high energy, playful, affectionate

Meet Bo, the bundle of energy waiting to light up your life! This handsome fellow is a mixedthe breed blending the intelligence of a German Shepard and agility of a herding breed. At just over one-year-old, Bo is in the prime of his life and ready to find his forever home.

Bo's most notable trait is his boundless energy. He is always up for a long hike, run or walk, or adventure to your local tractor supply. He will thrive in a home who is able to meet both his physical and mental stimulation needs. If you're looking for a furry companion to join you on your outdoor adventures, Bo is the perfect match.

Bo is loyal, trainable, and food-motivated6-week. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. He has been through a standard 6 week obedience training. He is potty trained, crate trained, up to date with his immunizations, and neutered. With a bit of consistency, Bo will blossom into an obedient and well-mannered companion.

Additional adoption info

Our volunteers have made a commitment to ensure that the animals we place will be in their new home for life.

Once an application is submitted, a volunteer will work with you to set up a time to meet the puppies that interest you.

Please plan on meeting the animal you are interested in adopting. Although the pictures and descriptions may show the "perfect" pet for you - nothing replaces an actual meeting!! You can NOT place an animal on hold. This is unfair to both the animal and other potential adopters.

ADOPTION FEES:
Please read the Q&A's on our website for adoption fee information and what is included.

More about this shelter

We work very closely with rescues in southern states to find new homes for dogs and puppies who deserve a family despite their state of origin.

Most of the puppies in our care come from over-crowded shelters in states with extreme over population and high kill rates. Our main goal is to place orphaned and unwanted animals into loving permanent homes.
