My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


This is Anna, she is a 4 year old 50 lb hound mix. We brought her in from a neglectful family while we were stationed in Hawaii, with every intention of finding her a safe, loving, and patient home in August.

In October 2023 we received last minute orders (20 days) to San Diego. Rather than placing Anna in a shelter, we brought her with us to San Diego, but we are still in search of her forever family.

Anna is up to date on all shots and is spayed. She is very very loving as in, wants to live inside your body with you loving. With that being said, she needs the right family. Anna is very anxious, she was left in kennels for almost days at a time before coming to us, and she was very malnourished. When she is left in a kennel she can bark, but if not in a kennel she will eat any food available on counters.

She is amazing with our cats, and does get along with our 10 year old Akita/German Shephard mix, but there was some fights the first week. She shows on leash aggression with othe
