My story

My name is Dolly Parton and I’m an adorable medium-size dog with short, golden hair! Thanks to my foster home I’ve already been dewormed, vaccinated and spayed. I used to be a stray dog, and one day I took refuge in a recycling company, where I ended up giving birth to my puppies. They all got into the adoption program, and now it’s my turn!
I’m very affectionate and playful, although I can be tough if I need to. I love going out for walks, but I’m still learning how to walk with a leash. I also love to cuddle with people.I get along well with other dogs, as long as we make a proper introduction first, and I tolerate cats most of the time. I currently live out on the patio of a house, where I’m learning how to use the dog door. I hope to find a loving and responsible family that will take good care of me! Please apply at www.dmdr.org

Our rescue facility is located in Tijuana. Once our rescues are ready for adoption, they are transported to our adoption events in San Diego. We are also in Puyallup, WA! When we are there, our adoption events take place at the PetSmart on 156th Street.
