Why I need a new home

Busy schedule

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Selena came to us unexpectedly - she was brought into my job after being found on the street. It was cold, rainy, and she was a baby. I brought her home, not really thinking about the months to come, just that she needed a place “right now”. Selena weighed 11 pounds at her first vet visit. That was September 30.

Fast forward to now - 80 pounds later, full of life and energy. Along the way, a DNA test revealed Selena is 75/25% Neapolitan Mastiff/Rottweiler. We have taken all of the necessary steps until now - regular vet visits, training classes, socialization with other dogs, and exercise. Unfortunately, our busy schedules have proven to be too much for what Selena really needs. She needs space, and she needs freedom - and we can’t give her those things. Our house is too small, and our neighborhood is too busy.

Selena is loving, playful, and wants a family to care for. Her instincts are good, and her personality is great.
