My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Meet Tori, the sweetest little Shih Tzu you could ever hope to bring into your life. Weighing in at a petite 9 pounds, Tori is 6-8 year-old bundle of love who's mastered the art of being a great companion. Not only is she excellent in her crate and on the leash, making her the perfect walking buddy for short distances. She's also fully potty-trained, adding to her impeccable manners. After an exciting day, she's all about snuggling up and enjoys nothing more than sleeping on the bed, offering comfort and companionship through the night. Tori does have one special need - she requires drops in both eyes twice a day to manage her dry eye condition. Her eyes can get a little goopy sometimes but just needs to keep them clean. It's a small task to ensure this loving girl remains comfortable, happy, and pampered. She has an umbilical hernia that is not causing any issues so the vet recommended leaving it alone due to her age. This very sweet Shih Tzu is looking for a forever home where she can continue to give and receive love, enjoy leisurely walks, and share cozy nights. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate friend, Tori could be the perfect match for you. Her heart is as big as her smile, and she's ready to fill your life with joy.

I'm spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, Heartworm and fecal neg. and had a dental.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
