My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

According to her foster, Weaver is just the absolute perfect pup (and perfectly sized at 37lbs)! She is extremely affectionate and loving towards all people. She is a “Velcro dog” and wants nothing more to hang with her people and be loved! She has been excellent with her foster’s 9 year old daughter and her foster mom doesn’t see her having trouble with children of any age due to her sweet, happy demeanor. She does great with other dogs and enjoys their company. She participated in play groups at the shelter and had a “gentle & dainty” play style with the other dogs at the shelter. Although she has some cute puppy mannerisms, she is overall pretty mellow, well-behaved, and not very high energy. She is house trained and has not had a single accident so far. Since she is SO people oriented her foster would love for her to go to a home where her owners either work from home, have flexibility, or other household members to keep her company so she can get plenty of love and attention that she craves during the day! Kids or doggie friends would be an added bonus! She also walks well on the leash without pulling, so would be great for jogs or walks. If you like outdoor dining, she’s a great patio dog since she’s so friendly and calm, or ventures to the dog park since she loves romping around with other dogs! She’s done well in the car, which makes getting to adventures easy, and is a great medium size…although the camera adds 10 pounds! As far as medical goes, she is noted to have had hair loss likely due to previous flea allergies, which have improved already in the short time she’s been in foster. If she sounds like a good fit for you, please inquire by filling out an adoption app!
