If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Guido is a 2 year old 65 lb English bull terrier. I’ve had him since he was 6 weeks old. I love him so much but I will be moving into an apartment in a few months and I don’t want this lifestyle for him. I also have a new granddaughter and don’t trust him around infants or small children. He plays rough like a large bully breed does. But he is also very sensitive; he pouts and cries when he’s sad. He needs an owner or a couple that is very firm with him and is experienced with training methods for his breed. I prefer that the person has already owned a bully breed. He’s good with other dogs. He must have a yard and he loves walks. He needs lots of exercise. He’s kennel trained and used to doggy daycare. He knows basic commands and is used to going into stores. He has a very strong personality and seems to be more obedient and submissive with men. I just don’t have what it takes to be able to train him correctly. I know in my heart that someone out there is the right fit for him.
