My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 12/25/2022

Emma is a sweet, independent little girl who knows how to make every moment special. Emma's gentle nature is complemented by her cuddly side, which makes her the perfect companion for those cozy nights in. She's also friendly, welcoming every visitor with a soft purr and a gentle nudge.  Her independence allows her to enjoy her alone time, but she's always ready for a cuddle when you are. Emma's charming personality and loving nature make her a wonderful addition to any home. Emma loves her person with her whole heart, and expects the same in return.  She's not about sharing her person, so would need to go as an only pet.

More about this rescue

Rescue/Shelter Description

The Village Mews was founded to improve the lives of stray, abandoned and displaced cats and kittens in upstate SC. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit, in-home foster rescue. Our felines reside in caring foster homes, where they thrive in safe indoor environments. Any cat that is accepted into our foster program will remain with a loving foster family until adopted. Our volunteers work patiently with each cat providing them with medical care, socialization and rehabilitation. Once our cats are socially acclimated, in good health and have completed their medical requirements they begin their journey to finding their perfect forever homes.
As a volunteer based non-profit, we depend on the generosity and support of our Village. We are grateful for all monetary donations as well as in-kind donations such as dry/ canned food and litter. We rely on private contributions to continue our rescue efforts.
