This helps A Little R&R Animal Sanctuary - Poplar Grove with pet care costs.
Name: Carat
Breed: Catahoula/Lab Mix
DOB: 11/30/2023
Good with kids: YES
Good with dogs: YES
Good with cats: YES
Foster location: Waukesha, IL
Adoption fee: $400
Fun Bio: Carat is full of spunk. He’s small but he’s mighty! He holds his own with his big foster brothers and sister. He likes the crate, but when you leave he just wants to say he misses you and then he’s fine being alone! He loves attention and is working really hard on potty training, and bringing back my toys for fetch. Carat is being fostered in a busy house with other dogs, and one cat. He does well with the cat, and pays her no mind. He is learning basic puppy manners from the other dogs, and will need direction to continue to learn to be a great little brother!
If interested in a pet from us please fill out the adoption application that is located on our website. We process applications in the order in which they are received. We will likely not respond to interest emails regarding puppies and/or kittens, we get so many "interest" emails that we simply do not have the time to respond to each one.
We always recommend crate training, positive reinforcement training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog/puppy into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
Included in the adoption fee are age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and microchip.
