My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aila is the white dog in the pictures and she is 10 year's old. We adopted her as a puppy for a man in Pinehurst who worked all day and couldn't care well for her. She is a great dog in a home where she is the only dog - she doesn't really like sharing space with our other dog and we believe that she would like and benefit from being the only dog in a home.

I checked that she isn't good with kids because she will growl at kids if they try to hug her. I would rather not have her in a home with kids under 7 or so because she likes her personal space.

We are moving to a smaller home with a smaller yard and we feel that it might be less ideal for having two dogs. Aila has been primarily living with our 91 year old parents, but they cannot keep her for the long term.

Although she is 10, she is very healthy and spry. She doesn't require much exercise and is content to be inside for long stretches. We have her sleep in a kennel at night and she likes that.
