My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Panda Sue! She’s a 2-year-old, beautiful Harlequin Great Dane with a few special talents up her sleeves. Panda Sue isn't just your average Dane… she's the canine equivalent of a doggie magician!

Have you ever seen a Dane make a fence disappear in the blink of an eye? Well, Panda Sue can make that happen because she’s a pro at climbing them! But fear not, with great power comes great responsibility, and she's seeking a forever home with a tall fenced backyard to keep her roaming spirit at bay.

Have you ever seen a Dane make food disappear? Ok, well that’s a given... But Panda Sue can, although she does have some food assertiveness. But we can’t fault her because she’s been a stray and didn’t always know when her next meal was coming. She just needs some guidance and reassurance that there’s enough food to go around and she will have plenty to eat.

With her bag of tricks, she is looking for a forever family who are seasoned Great Dane aficionados and have done some Dane wrangling over the years. With your guidance and reassurance, Panda Sue will learn lots – including trust and lots of love.

Plus, she is a sweet girl that enjoys having out with her people and loves playing with other big doggos. So, if you've got a pack, she's ready to join the party!

If you’re looking for a Great Dane who's not just a loving companion, but a legend in the making… Don't miss out on the chance to add some magic to your life with Panda Sue. Submit your application today before she pulls off her greatest disappearing act yet and gets adopted!

Please help us spread the word so Panda Sue can find her perfect forever family! Share this post, tag your friends, and let's make sure she finds a family that will cherish her as much as she deserves.

White Kisses requires all dogs to be in training within thirty days of adoption. Training is crucial for Danes to learn lifelong skills and to understand their place in the family pack. It is also an essential part of getting to know each other and helping your pup become a well-mannered GREAT Dane!

Additional adoption info

Before adopting a dog, please remember that this is a life-time commitment.

Ask yourself, do you have the financial means to provide the essential care?

If you rent, you must have landlord's consent.

Are all the animals in your home spayed/neutered? We are pro-spay/neuter and can't adopt or allow you to foster if you have unfixed animals in your home. Your pets must also be current on vaccinations, heart-worm prevention and vet care.

All available dogs are fixed, regardless of age, before they leave our care. We do NOT and will NOT offer spay/neuter contacts.

Please return our phone calls; if you don't, we won't finish processing your application.

White Kisses Great Dane Rescue does evaluate temperament as well as health assessments, but we can make no guarantee's on a dog's health and needs later in life.

Note: Fosters go through an application & home check process as well.

To assist White Kisses GDR in continuing rescue work, Adopter's make a non-refundable donation. This donation is immediately used to pay ongoing costs of rescuing more great danes, including food, veterinary care, kennels, behavior training, etc.
Puppies (under 1 year) - $450.00
Adult Danes (1yo-5yo) - $375.00
Seniors (6yo & up)- $175.00
Mixes- Adoption Donation varies

All dogs in our care are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, dewormed, HW tested and started on HW prevention. They are fully vaccinated, have seen a vet for any veterinary care required and are micro-chipped.

Upon adopting a Great Dane from White Kisses, please give them time to adjust to their new family and environment.

Most Danes will be required to be in training within 30 days of adoption.

More about this rescue

White Kisses Great Dane Rescue is committed to the rescue, rehab and rehoming of Great Danes in Texas and surrounding states. While we do rescue all types of full-blooded Great Danes as well as some Mastiffs and Dane/Mastiff mixes, our passion and #1 priority are the deaf, blind and special needs Great Danes.

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 Great Dane rescue operating solely on donations and the work of volunteers. Every donation helps us provide medical attention, housing, food and all other needs of the Great Danes in our care.

We primarily serve Texas and the surrounding states, with adoptions throughout the U.S. and Canada. Our goal is to not only save these magnificent gentle giants from living poorly cared for lives, but also educating the public regarding Double Merles and the care of these special needs Great Danes. We strive to place each Great Dane in the home that best fits the Dane.

Saving our gentle giants, one kiss at a time.
