Here's what the humans have to say about me:
North is a 3 year old pitbull/staffy mix fostered in north county San Diego. She likes treats, other dogs, being outdoors, rolling in the grass, chasing balls, chewing, desqueaking and destuffing toys, cuddling with humans she trusts, and giving bombastic side eye :) She is shy with new people, doesn't like loud noises/sudden movements, and likes a calm environment. North came to Mad Mutts from East Valley Animal Shelter in Los Angeles where she was terrified. It took 7 weeks before she let a volunteer even touch her but started to gain a lot of confidence through the shelter playgroups with other dogs. She has made SO MUCH progress in her foster home and is now ready to start looking for her forever home. We do think North would do best in a home with at least one other dog (she currently has two foster brothers). Once you have won her trust, the amount of love and affection she will give is unreal and she is so worth the patience and effort it takes to get there. We can't wait for North to have her happy ending.

After contract is signed and fee is paid, then the dog is able to go home with the adoptive parent.
