Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pearl girl is truly a gem of a dog! She started out as a bit of a diamond in the rough when she found herself at Riverside shelter with her two young puppies. Her babies were quickly adopted but no one came for Pearl :( She was underweight, had substantial hairless, and had clearly been neglected and overbred most of her young life. But now Pearl is looking better than ever and ready for her happily ever after. Pearl is about 3-5 years old, has fur that feels like peach fuzz, and wants nothing more than to be your sidekick in life. She is quiet (not sure we've ever heard her bark!), petite (just less than 40 lbs), is housebroken, and great with other dogs. She is mostly calm, but does show a playful side on occasion. Her biggest drawback is that her teeth tell the story of the hard life she has lead. But she recently had them cleaned up and feeling much better. Pearl has so much love to give and so much life left to lead. Will you be her family for life?

After contract is signed and fee is paid, then the dog is able to go home with the adoptive parent.
