What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
July 25, 2022 we took a trip to TAW where we seen a gorgeous, shy, 13 week old puppy named Pecan (for her color) who came in with her litter siblings from a mill. She had an adoption paper on her kennel, so I asked a worker about her and she informed she Pecan was waiting to be picked up.
We were leaving the shelter when we seen the worker changing out the paper on Pecans kennel. I quickly paced over and inquired to find out the adoptee had canceled. I told the worker that this was the puppy I had inquired about. Nex thing you know, Pecan went from pound to our palace and we renamed her Odessa!
Today she is a rambunctious, healthy two year old. She gets along great with out two cats and our older pitbull. As well as the neighbors dogs. She is so sweet but she has become more than I can handle, as she still has puppy energy with the strength of a teenager. She is stronger than me and needing a more active home, thus I feel I am no longer giving her the best life. And that's not fair.
