If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Emma is a 5 yo lovable dog. She is current on all vaccines, spayed, and routinely groomed. She is very intelligent. Knows commands but doesn't always listen - especially when told to go to bed/kennel (she has to have a treat for sure). She also has the ability to tell time, except it primarily is for meal times. Her greatest past times are walking, playing in the yard, chasing the rare occasional squirrel or bird. She should have a fenced yard, she primarily stays close when off leash but easily distracted (squirrel, bird, neighbor). We are looking for a home due to my health issues. Being an only dog she may be more likely to thrive. Due to lack of my ability to get her exercise she seems anxious but with a higher activity level this may decrease.
She has a large kennel, toys, and slow feeder.
