Aloha, I'm Narwhal and I'm 6 months old! I'm a Purring machine; I purr so loud you can hear me a room away. Despite coming into the shelter with a large puncture wound on my head, I'm the most loving and affectionate cat. After a lot of care and time to heal, I'm finally ready to be out of the shelter and in my forever home. If you're looking for a sweet lapcat, I'm your guy!

More about this shelter
The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
