My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"I pity the fool" that misses out on this little guy! Mr.Chi is a pint sized cutie on the lookout for his next snuggle buddy. He loves to lay by your feet in his bed, or use his adorable little feet to get your attention for scratches. He loves to snuggle in bed with you, and will root around under the covers until he finds a comfy spot - often with his head on your shoulder. He is enjoying the beginning of his golden years and has the sweet, mellow disposition to prove it. He likes to tell new people what's what with his signature macho man bark (okay so it's more endearing than terrifying but you get the idea) but once he settles down he is a quiet and calm companion with a MAJOR goofy side. He does great with other dogs and is neutral even if they are a little less so with him - he is happy to do his own thing as long as he can still get snuggles from his person. So if you're looking for a mellow snuggler to be your personal action hero, come down and meet Mr.Chi!

*UPDATE* Mr. Chi is a confirmed slumber party super star! Here is what his hosts had to say:
"Mr. Chi is a polite house guest who handled out resident dog's initial pushyness with grace and style. He happily went potty outside and slept through the night under the covers with no accidents. Although he is vocal at the shelter he did not make a peep at home, aside from some happy grunts and tiny snoring. He followed me around the house wagging his tail and supervising our evening activities. He enjoyed sniffing around outside, and with a little refresher course could easily take to full potty training - belly bands worked perfectly for the one or two times he did lift his leg indoors. He completely ignored our cat, even when the cat didn't ignore him. All and all Chi Chi is an easy dog to have in the home, he just has to get comfortable with his human first and then he is an amazingly sweet and snuggly companion!"
