My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dog Name: Daisy Rasin
Breed: Beagle
Sex: F
Age: 3
Weight: 25 lbs
Medical Needs: Heartworm positive. Treatment will be scheduled at our vet in Milford and covered by GRR as long as the appts are kept.

Spay scheduled for 5/21/2024 at Brandywine Valley SPCA in Dover. Keeping this appt is a condition of adoption.

Housebroken: Not quite, but learning quickly

Crate trained: Yes

Good in the car: Yes

Good on a leash: Yes

Energy level: Medium

Need a fenced in yard: Not at long as you're willing to leash walk her and have the time and patience for her to smell every blade of grass along the way.

Dog Friendly: Yes
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? Yes. She's never been alone and is much more confident in the presence of other friendly dogs.

Cat Friendly: Unknown

Kid Friendly: Unknown

Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them?

Daisy Rasin is a former hunting dog who just wants to be a beloved family member now. She's shy and timid at first, so will need some time to adjust to her new home before she gets comfortable. She is not a fan of loud noises and will run to her crate for sanctuary when something startles her. Her new family should be prepared to crate her when not supervised as 1) it is her safe space, and 2) that beagle nose will most certainly lead her to trouble if given the chance.

Fosters Location:  Dover
