My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Happy is a sweet-tempered girl who was brought into the shelter through Ewing Police as she was living in unsafe conditions. Her ideal home would be one where she can get all of the attention and love she desires, and definitely would have a comfy couch or 2 to snooze on. Happy is at least 13-14 years old and has lived a hard life. She is missing one of her back paws and requires a bootie to get around on rough outdoor surfaces. She doesn’t mind wearing them and allows us to easily put them on. She’s on some joint supplements and eagerly eats them without protest. Happy enjoys meal time and does an adorable “happy dance” when it’s time to eat. She loves to snuggle, give kisses, and get pets all over. Although she’s an older girl, she’ll greet you with a wiggly body and kisses and is regaining strength enough to get some pep in her step. Her current foster parents love her immensely and continuously tell us how wonderful she is. Happy is crate trained and housebroken. She loves her giant comfy beds and will snuggle on them if the couch is occupied. She takes treats gently and knows some basic commands. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and ready to start the next chapter of her life. She is looking forward to her bright future and you can be a part of it. If interested in giving this old girl a soft spot to land please apply here —> www.easelnj.org/application-dog/
We know she’ll thank you with a million kisses, tail wags, and all the love her heart has to give. Adoption by appointment only with an approved adoption application. Please go to www.easelnj.org/adopt to submit an adoption application. Someone will be in touch within 48 hours.
