Meet Dmitri!!

This beautiful Parti Yorkie is such a sweet little guy. When he came to foster care he was very nervous. He would not sit or lay down while his fosters were in the room and would only eat once they left the room. After only being in foster care a few days, he began to come up to be pet, would give kisses and was interacting well with his foster siblings. He would do well in a home with another small dog to continue to show him the ropes, but he enjoys his human interaction as well. He was not bothered during a brief interaction with a young child. He loves to be pet and have his gorgeous coat brushed. He adores his bully sticks and sometimes plays with toys. He is doing well with potty training as he follows the other dogs outside routinely. He is comfortable eating and sleeping in his crate. He is such a sweet little guy becoming more comfortable each and every day. His foster is confident he will adjust to his new surroundings very quickly as he did with them. His foster parents will miss him very much but know he will make his furever family very happy!

He is up to date on vaccines, is neutered, and is ready for his forever home!

All dogs come fixed and current on vaccinations.

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
