What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We found Max by Gods Grace by Hwy 36. He (Max) barely had enough energy to trot off of the road, and looked lost. My wife and pulled over with our kids, and put him in the back of our car. Within a few minutes he was passed out in the back. We drove him around to find his owner, but no one had seen him there.
Since we have had him, we have loved seeing him come back to life! He had a belly full of hook worms, was dirty, and had fleas when we first picked him up. Over the course of 2 weeks, he has returned to being a puppy, and is VERY good at picking up on our training. He is potty and kennel trained, and is doing a great job not jumping, and is sitting and coming very well! He is doing well both inside and out, and really loves both of us and our children!
Max needs a home where he can get all the attention and training he needs! He competes for time with our kids and weiner dog, and we are at our limit with what we can handle. We will keep training Max as best as we can.
