My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster mom says Chief acts more like a puppy than a 5 yr old. He loves the kids and other dogs in the home. There are no cats in the home. Chief was found stray and many efforts to find his family failed. We have learned that he will bolt, so open doors are very tempting to him. You have to be careful! Fenced yard will be required. He enjoys time outside and snuggling on the couch. Playful, spunky, fun. A safe, loving forever home is all he needs. Neuter, dental cleaning, vaccines, microchip provided. 8 lb. Chief is heartworm positive but we will provide his treatment in full!

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of experience in pet rescue. With over 20,000 companion animals being euthanized each year in the Midlands of SC, our goal is to save as many as possible from this dreadful fate. Rescue is expensive, so your help is needed in order for us to save lives. Each pet receives prompt medical attention, is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted into a loving home. Medical care is our main expense. We also must purchase microchips, heartworm and flea preventions, food and many other supplies. We are an ethical group of volunteers who promises to use every penny for the rescue, care and adoption of pets in need. All donations are tax deductible. No Paid Staff!! Click our PAYPAL link below or mail your check to PO Box 4335, Irmo, SC 29063 THANK YOU!!!
