Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet sweet Susan! This goofy girl is looking for the perfect forever home. She hopes for a family who will spoil her with plenty of cuddles and pets every day. She will even let you know when she's ready for more love with a cute little dance and "awoo". She loves to go for walks and would love to keep active with her new family. She enjoys romping around with her favorite people but has not picked a favorite toy yet. She would love a variety of toys to try out in her new home. Here at the shelter she was a bit uncomfortable while meeting other dogs so she must meet and dogs in the home prior to adoption. If she makes a friend it will likely be with a savvy, low key dog who mostly wants to just hang out. Does Susan sound like the perfect fit for your family? Ask to meet her today
Ideal Home: -Must meet dogs, will do best with a savvy, low key dog who likes to just hang out
Susan benefitted from time in a foster home. Her foster reports that she walks very nicely on a leash without pulling and knows the commands sit, stay, and lay down. She's wonderful and low key but loves your attention. She is fully house trained! when she had to go potty, she would look at her foster, wag her tail, and give a little bark as if to say, "pay attention to me!" Her foster said she wasn't crated in their home and was left alone in the house for more than 2 hours with no problems. She takes treats nicely, and always want a good head/neck rub when coming inside from a walk!
