My name is Stallone!

Stallone is a 2 year old male, Bulldog/ Terrier mix who came to the shelter as a stray. He is one handsome boy, weighing around 39 pounds. Stallone is quite nervous in his kennel, once outside he is a lot better and enjoys his walks, but can be nervous of loud sounds, and fast movements. We don't know what his life prior to the shelter was like, but we can imagine it wasn't ideal as he is still nervous of being pet and needs slow introductions. Stallone is very treat motivated and knows the "sit" and "stay" cues and we are hoping in time and seems to be willing to learn! At this time, he is recommended to a home with teens 15 and up due to his general nervousness'. Stallone is a gentle pup when properly introduced to other dogs, we recommend time for them to sniff each other, parallel walks and then a romp in a fenced yard. While he did whine in anticipation when he was introduced to a much a larger female, he interacted well, he also played with a mini-muffin around his size and continued to engage appropriately. He could be home in a home with a well socialized female companion.
