Kato: Born Dec 2, 2022 is the sibling and liter mate of Oakley.
He is mostly, well mannered and behaved. I say mostly, because litter- mate syndrome or whatever is a real thing. When separated from his sister, Kato is a calm, responsive and cuddle monster.
On lead, he is on the left of his handler and responds well to gentle information and does not get sparked by other dogs or critters. He has also mastered walking without a lead. He does not bark at or get sparked by people on his walks and in general his biggest threat to anyone is his size, which he does not appreciate himself and the desire to be petted.
As for small people, he has been off leash and in the room with my 2 yr old grandson and was not an issue at all. No growling, hackles or the like.
In addition to his sibling, he also runs around with a 30# Aussie, who is nearly 8 yrs old and she is not afraid to put him in his place, when his lack awareness of his own size becomes an issue for her.
He patiently waits for his food, and knows several commands: Sit, wait, down, circle, find.
At the dog park he is quite vocal, until he get in, and then he does nothing but run and collide with his sibling, and/or the Aussie.
This is one of 5 puppies found behind a warehouse with her mom Krisi. Please contact us for further adoption information.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application at the link below on a computer – no cell phones please.
